Physical gains include development and improvement of basketball related athletic skills and improving overall health and fitness.Psychological gains include developing many of the postitive attributes of CHARACTER, such as SELF-DISCIPLINE, RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY, COMPETITIVENESS, SELF-CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP, COOPERATIVENESS and SPORTSMANSHIP
All of our participants gain countless hours of quality gym time, developing their individual skills and building towards team goals. Teams generally practice about 3 hours per week (2 evenings) throughout the season.
Practices and games occur between October and March. Girls seasons tend to start and end a little earlier than boys seasons. Players are encouraged to participate in other fall/spring sports with the bulk of basketball season occurring through the winter months.
